Performance artist Tashi Iwaoka conducts a one-day Body Plaza Workshop/Lab at Esitystaiteen keskus in Helsinki on Saturday 1 June 2013.
In the Body Plaza Workshop/Lab the participants will explore the states of being serious and playful. Life is a serious matter, yet, playfulness is an important element in order to survive in that seriousness. Iwaoka considers the key to that is a relaxed state of consciousness and body. For this purpose he combines his performance and martial arts practices. The workshop consists of bodywork and explorations in the form of improvisation. Through these exercises the emphasis is given to increase one’s sensibility and receptivity of his own body.
The workshop is open to everybody passionate and interested in life in general, although some exercises requires a strong sense of physical commitment.

The enrollment is open until 24 May. Before making a bank transfer of the whole fee, your place is not confirmed. Cancellations can be made until 24 May. After this date there is no refund of the workshop fee.
