Esitysinstallaation ja esityksen välimaastoon sijoittuva tanssiteos Because of truths we have a hard time on Jenna Broaksen ja Fabian Nybergin ensimmäinen yhteisteos. Teoksessa esiintyjän äly, yleisön äly ja koneellinen äly muodostavat synteesin luoden näyttämötodellisuuden, joka herättää kysymyksiä subjektin toimijuuden ja olemassaolon rajoista tai rajattomuudesta.
Broas ja Nyberg työstävät uutta teostaan Kutomon residenssissä helmi-maaliskuussa. Residenssijaksonsa päätteeksi tekijät avaavat työtään Kutomolla nähtävässä presentaatiossa.

Because of truths we have a hard time places itself somewhere between the genres of contemporary dance and installation art. It is the first co-work by the artist duo Jenna Broas and Fabian Nyberg. In the work, the mind of the performer, the mind of the audience, and the mind of a machine form a synthesis, creating a stage reality that raises questions about the limits or the limitlessness of the subject’s agency and existence.
Broas and Nyberg work on their new project in Kutomo residency from mid-February to early March. At the end of their residency the artists will share their work and process in an open presentation.
