Karolina Kucian yhteistyössä Freja Bäckmanin, Zosia Hołubowskan ja Airi Triisbergin kanssa syntyvän uuden teoksen nimi OOW! tulee sanoista Out-Of-Work. Kutomolla toukokuussa nähtävä OOW! on esitys työn epävarmuudesta ja työvoiman olosuhteista jatkuvassa neuvottelun tilassa: työssä – pois työstä – ei työtä. Esityksen lähtökohtana on kokoelma tarinoita puutteellisuudesta, tyytymättömyydestä ja tekopyhyydestä työn rakenteissa. Teos etenee loiselämisestä mutaatioiden, toimintahäiriöiden, änkytyksen ja bugien kautta kohti loppua, erehdysten exodusta, kohti mis-exitiä tai pikemminkin Miss-Sex-Itiä. Out-Of-Work on hirveä metodi, mutta hulluudesta on löydettävissä logiikkaa ja synkkyydestä huumoria. Teoksen esiintyjinä toimivat kehot, koneet ja käsikirjoitukset.

OOW!, a performance created by Karolina Kucia and her workgroup Freja Bäckman, Zosia Hołubowska and Airi Triisberg, means Out-Of-Work!. It is a performance on precarization of labour dealing with the conditions of in, out and no work. The performance grows out of a collection of stories of inadequacy, unease and hypocrisy in labour structure. Beginning with Parasitic Inhabitation the performance proceeds through mutations, dysfunctions, stuttering and glitching towards the end, the errorist exodus, the mis-exit or rather Miss-Sex-It. OOW! is performed by bodies, machines and scripts. There is a logic in this madness; there is humour in the gloominess. Out-Of-Work is a monstrous method.
Your entrance fee for the performance can be either a ticket or a task given by the workgroup. If you would like to pay by task be there in time – there’s a limited amount of tasks to carry out!
