Tashi Iwaoka: Tatsumura Method Finger Yoga

Tatsumura Method Finger Yoga is developed by Osamu Tatsumura. Tatsumura, a master teacher of Okido Yoga studied directly from Masahiro Oki, the pioneer of Okido Yoga. After 30 years of yoga experience, Tatsumura established the method for finger yoga. The workshop at Contemporary Art Space Kutomo is led by Tashi Iwaoka who has been granted the official certificate of Tatsumura Method Finger Yoga instructor.

Tatsumura Method Finger Yoga is good for busy people who have no time for a proper yoga session, people with injuries who can’t perform properly the poses, or indeed anybody who is keen on keeping their condition in good shape. It is very easy to practice and doesn’t need a yoga mat. Through Finger Yoga, one can get many benefits like relaxation, mental-body balancing, or even stretching effects just from working on fingers and hands.

The workshop is open to everyone interested. Please note that when joining the workshop have your nails cut and also avoid eating one hour before the workshop. Also, wear warm and comfortable clothes. The workshop language is English.
